What a month it’s been for Coleshill Town! The lads have once again shown their class, grit, and belief — this time away from home against the league leaders, Carlton Town.
After toppling Belper Town 2–0 just four weeks ago, Coleshill pulled off another statement win, beating the current table-toppers on their own turf to make it six points from the top two sides in a month.
It was a fierce, hard-fought game from start to finish, but Coleshill never looked intimidated. The turning point came in the 65th minute, when Ben Usher-Shipway showed great composure to slot home what proved to be the match-winner, sending the travelling fans into full voice behind the goal.
From there, it was pure determination. The defence stood tall, the midfield battled for every ball, and the whole team dug in to protect the lead. When the final whistle blew, the celebrations from players and supporters alike showed exactly what it meant.
The victory not only makes it back-to-back wins over league leaders, but it also lifts Coleshill Town into the playoff positions — now sitting proudly in fifth place.
Next up, the boys return home to face Basford United, and with confidence sky-high, there’s no doubt the Town will be aiming to keep the momentum rolling.
The belief is building, the performances are shining — and Coleshill Town are climbing!
