Debutant Butlin's First-Half Hat-Trick Fires Colemen To Victory At St Ives

Coleshill Town produced a clinical display on the road as a sensational first-half hat-trick from debutant Joey Butlin helped the Colemen secure an impressive 4-1 victory away at St Ives FC.

The visitors could hardly have dreamed of a better start. With just two minutes on the clock, Butlin announced himself in style, finding the net on his debut to give Coleshill an early advantage.

The Colemen continued to press and doubled their lead after only eight minutes when Butlin struck again, leaving St Ives with a mountain to climb before the game had settled.

Despite Coleshill's strong start, the hosts responded through Mark Jones on 32 minutes, reducing the deficit and giving St Ives hope of a way back into the contest.

However, any momentum gained by the home side was quickly extinguished as Butlin completed a remarkable first-half hat-trick on 42 minutes. His third goal restored Coleshill's two-goal cushion and sent the visitors into the break with a commanding 3-1 lead.

Coleshill carried their authority into the second half and extended their advantage just four minutes after the restart. Daniel Gyasi got in on the act on 49 minutes, finding the net to make it 4-1 and put the result beyond doubt.The Colemen remained in control thereafter, seeing out an excellent away performance and claiming three valuable points thanks to an outstanding attacking display led by debut hat-trick hero Butlin.
