There is always something special about matchday when young footballers get the chance to be part of the occasion, and Saturday's fixture against Basford was no exception as the Coleshill Town Under 10s enjoyed a memorable afternoon at Pack Meadow.

Before kick-off, the youngsters took to the pitch for a kickabout of their own, making the most of the opportunity to play on the same surface as their first-team heroes. With plenty of smiles and excitement on show, it was the perfect way to build up to the main event.

The Under 10s then had the honour of walking out alongside the Coleshill Town players, creating a fantastic atmosphere as the teams emerged from the tunnel. For many of the youngsters, it was a moment they will not forget, proudly representing the future of the Colemen in front of the home supporters.

After taking their places in the stands, the young footballers were treated to an entertaining 4-2 victory for Coleshill Town. The action could hardly have started any faster, with Bassit Manday finding the net after just 24 seconds, one of the quickest goals scored in the league this season and the perfect way to ignite the contest.

The goals continued to flow as the Colemen secured an impressive win, giving the Under 10s plenty to cheer about throughout the afternoon.Everyone at Coleshill Town would like to thank the Under 10s for their support and enthusiasm on the day. We hope they enjoyed being part of the matchday experience and look forward to welcoming them back to Pack Meadow again soon.

Adding to the occasion was special matchday mascot and Stag Paul Everett, who embraced every moment of the day. Paul joined the Under 10s for a kickabout before the game and was back out on the pitch entertaining supporters again at half-time. He also proudly walked out with the players before kick-off, playing his part in a day full of smiles and community spirit.

Everyone at Coleshill Town would like to wish Paul all the best for the big day and hope he enjoyed his day as part of the Colemen family.
