On a perfect sunny afternoon at Pack Meadow, Coleshill Town FC came together to honour one of the club’s great servants — Gio Dainty. The long‑awaited testimonial brought past and present Colemen back onto the same pitch, united by one purpose: celebrating Gio’s years of commitment, leadership and loyalty to the club.

The match itself saw Coleshill Whites run out 5–2 winners, but from the first whistle it was clear the scoreline was the least important part of the day. This was about Gio — the teammate, the competitor, the friend — and the legacy he’s built across his time in blue and white.

Supporters were treated to a brilliant mix of eras, with fan favourites returning to pull on the shirt once more. The afternoon also delivered a special moment for the club’s future: Jayden Evans, the youngest ever player to represent Coleshill Town, came on for the second half. He stepped into goal while his father lined up in the back four — a fitting snapshot of the family spirit that defines this club.

Laughter, applause and nostalgia filled Pack Meadow as players swapped stories, shared memories and gave Gio the tribute he richly deserves. It was a day that captured everything Coleshill Town stands for: community, loyalty, and pride in the badge.

A wonderful occasion for a wonderful servant of the club.

Thank you, Gio — from everyone at Coleshill Town FC.
