As supporters of The Colemen, we’ve always known that football is about more than just the ninety minutes on the pitch. It’s about the people who wear the shirt, the staff who guide them, and the community that rallies behind them. This week, we find ourselves reflecting on both goodbyes and fresh starts.
Tyrease Brown, Harry Harris’ very first signing for Coleshill Town, has made the decision to move to Dubai with his partner. While it’s never easy to see a player depart, we send Tyrease and his partner our very best wishes for the exciting journey ahead. His time here will always be remembered fondly, and he leaves with the gratitude of everyone connected to the club.
At the same time, we bid farewell to Steve “Hinksy” Hinks, who has accepted a managerial role at Telford. Hinksy’s energy, commitment, and passion for the game have left a lasting mark on Coleshill Town. Though we’re pleased to see him take this next step in his career, there’s a hint of sadness as we say goodbye to someone who has been such a valued part of our journey.
But football is always about looking forward as much as looking back, and we’re delighted to welcome Sam Heath as our new assistant manager. Harry Harris shared his excitement about the appointment:
“Really pleased to get Sam in as my assistant manager. He works hard and always wants to learn. We have always spoken a lot about football and we have the same philosophy so I’m delighted to have him join me as I feel he’s the perfect replacement for Hinksy.”
Sam’s arrival brings fresh energy and continuity to the management team, and we’re confident he’ll help drive The Colemen forward in the months ahead.
So, while we wave goodbye to Tyrease and Hinksy with pride and gratitude, we also open our arms to Sam Heath with optimism and excitement. That’s the rhythm of grassroots football—farewells, welcomes, and the unwavering heartbeat of the supporters who keep the spirit alive.

The new year brings fresh changes and challenges, and we won’t have to wait long for the action. On Saturday 10th January, we’re back on the road as Coleshill Town travel to face Loughborough. Away days are always special, and this one promises to be a real test of character. The lads will be looking to carry momentum into the new year, and we know our travelling support will make themselves heard.
Then, just two days later, we return home for a mouth-watering tie in the Birmingham Senior Cup against none other than Birmingham City on Monday 12th January. It’s a huge occasion for the club—hosting a side of Birmingham’s stature—and one that will showcase everything we love about grassroots football: passion, pride, and the chance to go toe-to-toe with bigger names.
These back-to-back fixtures are a reminder of the journey we’re on. Whether it’s the grit of an away day or the glamour of a cup night under the lights, The Colemen spirit will be there in full voice.
Up The Colemen!
