Across two seasons in Coleshill Town colours, few players embodied consistency, graft, and quiet influence quite like Jack Hallahan. He wasn’t the loudest voice, nor the flashiest name on the teamsheet, but he was the heartbeat of the midfield — a player who knitted everything together, kept the tempo, and gave The Colemen a platform to play.

From Opponent to Ever‑Present

Supporters first got a glimpse of Jack’s quality when he lined up against Coleshill for Walsall Wood. That day ended in a 4–1 defeat for The Colemen, but the wider story was that Wood were the best side in the division and would have gone on to win the league had the club not gone bump. Even in defeat, Hallahan stood out — a composed, intelligent midfielder who always seemed to be in the right place.

It wasn’t long before he was wearing Coleshill blue.

A Debut That Set the Tone

Jack made his Coleshill debut on 19th October 2024, thrown straight into a tough test against eventual champions Quorn. The match ended in a 3–0 defeat, but Hallahan’s performance was a rare bright spark. He earned Man of the Match on his first outing — a sign of what was to come.

Two Seasons of Reliability

Across his time with The Colemen, Jack amassed:
• 54 appearances

• 29 in 2024–25, scoring 2 goals

• 25 in 2025–26, where he didn’t find the net but remained a constant presence

Goals weren’t his currency — control, composure, and consistency were. But when he did score, they were moments to savour.

The Two Goals That Told the Story

📅 Monday 11th November 2024 – vs Coventry Sphinx (2–2 Draw)

With the clock ticking down and Coleshill pushing hard, Jack produced a moment of pure quality:

“With time running out Jack Hallahan hit a worldly from around 30 yards that gave Coleshill the point that their second half performance deserved.”
A strike worthy of any highlight reel — and a point rescued through sheer determination.

📅 Saturday 18th January 2025 – vs Wellingborough (2–0 Win)

His second goal was the perfect example of what he brought to the team:
“A true team goal with a cracking finish by Jack Hallahan in the dying minutes.”
A move built on teamwork, finished with precision — exactly the kind of football Jack helped make possible.

More Than Numbers

Jack wasn’t a headline-chaser. He didn’t need to be.

He was the player who kept things moving, who linked defence to attack, who read danger before it arrived, who made others look better. Every team needs one — and they’re always the hardest to replace.

For two seasons, he made Coleshill Town tick.

Good Luck Down Under, Jack

As Jack heads off for a new chapter in Australia, he leaves with the respect of teammates, the appreciation of supporters, and the knowledge that he played a key role in shaping two important seasons for The Colemen.

A dependable midfielder, a model professional, and a player who always gave everything.
Good luck down under, Jack — and thanks for everything.
